A : LL141 is compulsory but does not affect the final degree classification.

B :

Compulsory unless granted an approval to waive the requirement to take this course by the LLB Programme Director and the Departmental Tutor; this waiver will only be granted in very exceptional circumstances. In the event that a waiver is granted, courses to the value of 1.0 unit from the Law Options List C, and Undergraduate Outside Options List E should be selected, provided however, that a maximum of 1.0 unit can be selected from the Undergraduate Outside Options List E over Years 2 and 3 (a 1.0 unit course or two 0.5 unit courses in total).
