For students starting before the 2024/25 academic year: Students must pass MC499 and either MC4M2 or MC4M8 to be awarded the degree.

For students starting in or after the 2024/25 academic year: Students must pass MC499 and MC4M2 to be awarded the degree.

Additional criteria for the award of Merit/Distinction (scheme section 2):
None.
